Unzip the zipped folder by right clicking on it and clicking on “extract file” take note of the directory and the extracted file’s name. Installation of Excel Solver Add-In: Run your Microsoft Office excel program, select tools, then add-ins. Click on the browse button and find solver.xla file in the zipped folder you extracted above, don’t worry about the solver.dll as it will be automatically loaded.
