The iTunes server in the RN102 is forked-daapd. It will stream music to apple TV via airplay. However, airplay actually won't play to your iPhone (or to my iPad.). The apple remote app (on the iphone/ipad) will let you play from the RN102 to an apple TV (or another airplay client). But apple doesn't provide an airplay client for the iPhone/iPad itself. And apple's media players require home-sharing to see your music library - which forked-daapd (and other reverse-engineered servers) can't do. What you can do is use something like 8player on the iphone with plex (or readydlna) on the RN102.
AVplayerHD is another option - it does not use DLNA, instead it access the media with FTP. Both have free trial versions, so you can test them out. So the music is on the ultra, the control app is on the iphone, and you want to tell the ultra to stream directly to the squeezebox? Do we have that straight? If so, Airplay won't help - its an apple proprietary thing. I think to get it to do what you want, you'd need to (a) install the itunes server on the ultra, and get it set up for airplay (b) install LMS on the ultra (c) install shairport, and set it up to pipe into the LMS server (d) pair shairport with the the iphone apple remote app (e) access the ultra's itune library from the iphone apple remote app, and select the shairport client as the player This seems very complicated to set up, and if you are not an iTunes user now I don't know why you'd want to attempt it.
